About Me
I'm Navah. Business development strategist, retail specialist, data analyst, property manager, motivational speaker, and mum. Not your average combination, I know. But that's kind of the point.
Where it all began
I didn't choose business. In many ways, it chose me.
As the fifth generation to lead Firma M. de Vries, a family business in the Netherlands with over 140 years of history, I grew up understanding what it means to build something that lasts. Reliability, trust, and long-term thinking aren't just values I talk about. They're in my roots.
I've been working across retail, e-commerce, B2B and B2C markets since 1996, specialising in marketing, business development, and commercial property management. Over the years that experience has taken me from local markets to global ones, and from start-ups to some of the world's most recognised brands.
The right strategy doesn't just open doors. It builds them.

What I've done along the way
My career has been anything but a straight line, and I think that's what makes me good at what I do.
At Shell I managed major global marketing communications campaigns, working with local teams across Europe to promote the Shell fuel card, reach professional transport companies, and contribute to repositioning the brand as more environmentally focused and service led.
As a Senior Marketing and Data Analyst at Mediablue I managed affiliate marketing investments, gathered insight from multiple sources, and used data to steer business decisions in ways that had a direct impact on results and return on investment.
I've also been part of the TEDxJaffa production team, managing fundraising and VIP relations, which gave me a very different kind of challenge and one I loved.
What I focus on now
Today my work sits across three connected areas:
Business development and go-to-market strategy — helping companies enter new markets, reach new audiences, and grow in a way that makes sense for their business.
Location strategy and retail advisory — helping businesses find the right physical locations to strengthen their brand and get closer to their customers.
Commercial property management — managing retail spaces and helping businesses create the right environment for sales to happen.
I also run workshops on making the most of both online and offline presence, because in today's world you really do need both working together.
What drives me
My personal mission is to strengthen the bond between businesses and their customers. When that bond is strong, customer loyalty grows, sales follow, and whole shopping areas can come back to life. That idea of creating something that ripples outward keeps me motivated every single day.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing. I'm based in The Hague in the Netherlands but I work with clients all over the world.
And yes, I'm also a mum. Which, honestly, has taught me more about patience, problem solving, and thinking on my feet than any job ever could.
